Accessible only on foot, mountain bike, horseback or ATV along the beach at low tide, our cabin experience will take you back in time to a simpler way of life. Your hostess, Fay Smith, is a long time resident of the area, born and raised on a neighboring homestead.

Guests will have an unforgettable experience, dining on wild edible foods, cooked to perfection by Chef Bennard. Fresh clams harvested from the cabin beach, wild veggies, berries and mushrooms. Fresh caught salmon and wild game are also available in season.

We have a sun-shower available
and a state of the art outdoor 'privy'.

On our way to the cabin you can visit
the historic Kilcher Homestead on a guided tour.

Sightings of moose, bears, coyotes, sea otters, seals,
eagles and other wildlife are not uncommon.
Spend the day hiking, beach combing, kayaking
or exploring canyons and waterfalls.

When your day is done, take a soak in our unique hot tub,
you will fall asleep to the soothing
sound of the ocean and the summer songbirds.

Horse rentals, halibut fishing, flight seeing,
excursions to the State Park across the bay
to visit the glacier, and kayaking, are some of
the many activities available in the area.

However, our goal is to provide you
with a quiet respite from the hectic lifestyle.
